Former NFL Receiver Randall Cobb Survives House Fire

Randall Cobb, a former wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets, endured a frightening incident when his Nashville, Tennessee home caught fire this week. Cobb and his wife, Aiyda, shared an update on their Instagram pages about the ordeal.

In their post, the couple expressed gratitude, saying, “We are lucky to be alive.” Randall acted swiftly to rescue their family dog, Louie, and they praised the quick response of the Nashville Fire Department.

“I can’t forget the image of the brave firefighter positioning himself without water to extinguish the flames. I feared the cars would explode, and we might lose him in this tragedy.

He is a true hero,” Cobb wrote. “Although we are uncertain about what can be salvaged, this experience has reminded us that our family’s health is the most important thing.”
